FAQs
What is coaching and how does it benefit you? Coaching is about working with your mind: asking precise questions creates clarity, and you find solutions yourself. Focus on the present and future, your values and goals.
How does coaching differ from psychotherapy? Psychotherapy often works with past experiences and emotional states, helping to restore resilience. Coaching focuses on the present and future: goals, choices, and actions. If you're unsure what's right for you, I can help you navigate this during an orientation session.
How does a coaching session typically proceed? We choose one major goal to work on throughout the entire coaching relationship (6 or 12 sessions) and explore it through questions and observations. During each session, I help you identify the beliefs, limitations, fears, needs, and values that influence your choices. At the end, you formulate conclusions and concrete steps to take before the next meeting.
If a coach doesn't offer advice, what's the point? Coaching develops awareness and self-reliance: you learn to better understand what's important to you and make decisions without external "right answers." Over time, you develop a habit of self-reflection, gain greater confidence in your choices, and see your next steps more clearly. A coach helps you maintain focus and move systematically.
What does "ICF-compliant coaching" mean? The ICF (International Coaching Federation) is the largest international non-profit federation that sets ethical and professional standards and certifies coaches. Training takes place at accredited schools, and coaching qualifications are confirmed through practice and examinations. This helps clients understand the competencies the professional is focusing on. According to ICF standards, a coach's qualification is confirmed through theoretical training and practice. — ICF ACC (Associated Certified Coach): 60+ hours of training, 100+ hours of documented practice, written and oral exams. — ICF PCC (Professional Certified Coach): 120+ hours of training, 500+ hours of documented practice, written and oral exams. — ICF MCC (Master Certified Coach): 180 hours of training, 2,500 hours of documented practice, written and oral exams.
Where and with whom did you train as a coach? I'm studying the Advanced Coaching Applications program (PCC preparation level) at Erickson Coaching International. I currently have about 50 hours of coaching experience, or approximately 100 coaching sessions. I can share more details about my approach and format upon request.
What's the difference between an astrological consultation and coaching? Sometimes in life, it's more important to understand what's happening than to act. Astrology allows you to see the bigger picture of your life: recurring patterns, inner resources, current life cycles, and the directions in which opportunities are currently unfolding. An astrological consultation will be especially helpful if you: - are facing an important choice and want to see the situation from a broader perspective; - feel you're in a period of change and are seeking understanding; - notice recurring life or family patterns; - want to understand yourself more deeply and the dynamics of your relationships with loved ones; - seek confirmation of your inner feelings and intuitive insights; - want to see patterns in your life in the past, present, and possible future scenarios; - want an astrological interpretation and an outside perspective on your question.
