Everything happens for a reason

As a person with big social ambitions (expertise, status, money💸), I directed the focus of my attention there for many years. Through patience and hard work💪 on one hand, and great inner strain⚡ on the other, results were not long in coming, but 'happiness', as it is described in books and on the internet, never arrived. A similar story was unfolding in my personal life. 'I have everything, yet everything feels wrong'... At a certain point, I hit absolute emotional rock bottom😵 and realized that no one but me could solve or change anything for me. And so, I began the work, rolling up my sleeves, as they say."

I started studying astrology💫, trying to figure things out on my own. Realizing that analyzing your own birth chart is incredibly difficult (like a dentist trying to treat their own teeth), I got a consultation and was given a clear breakdown of the problems📌 I needed to address if I wanted to change anything. No dates, no promises that everything would just happen on its own. 'If you want it, do it; if you don't, don't.' The crucial thing to understand here is that change only happens when you realize that you are so completely unsatisfied with the way things are, that you see no obstacles on the path to your goal🚀. Absolutely none..."

✳️After 6–7 months of deep inner work, turning myself inward (what am I afraid of? why am I staying silent? why do I act this way? why do I think this way?) and cross-checking with my chart, I began to understand who I 'really' was and what type of man🙋‍♂️ I needed. While doing another astrology homework assignment, I mapped out my upcoming dating periods💞 and potential places to meet someone, and... I ended up in the right place at the right time. One of those events was an outdoor yoga session🧘‍♀️ in the park. I remember it like it was yesterday—an ungodly early hour to be doing anything, but my inner voice wouldn't quiet down: 'Go, Mars is on the cusp of the 5th house right now.' And it was worth it. I really liked the instructor ☺️

A couple of months later, he suggested we look at each other's charts (he’s an astrologer too), and when I opened his, everything clicked into place. He was the One.

Long story short: this major life experience convinced me yet again that we create our own reality with our own minds and our own hands. There are no accidents.
